Jim is a director-shareholder with the law firm of Krugliak, Wilkins, Griffiths & Dougherty Co., L.P.A. He maintains a sophisticated, multifaceted litigation and appellate practice, aggressively serving clients in a wide array of industries, including manufacturing, technology, construction, and retail. Jim continues to successfully represent clients in complex business disputes and product liability cases and has tried numerous cases to verdict in courtrooms throughout Ohio. In an addition to his corporate practice, Jim has also developed a focus on representing individuals in probate disputes, including breach of trusts, removal of trustees, guardianship issues, will contests, and post-death disputes. Prior to joining the firm in 2013, Jim served as a Judicial Attorney in the Eleventh District Court of Appeals.
When not concentrating on the legal practice, Jim devotes his time to various civic and charitable organizations, currently serving on the board of trustees for ArtsinStark to advance the arts throughout the community, and formerly serving on the board of trustees for The Workshops, Inc. (TWi), in advancement of providing vocational opportunities to individuals with developmental disabilities. He additionally serves on the Stark County Bar Association Executive Committee and the Stark County Law Library Association Board of Trustees. He was also a member of the 33rd Signature Class of Leadership Stark County, a program designed for business and community leaders.
