Canton, Ohio: The law firm of Krugliak, Wilkins, Griffiths & Dougherty Co., L.P.A. (KWGD) is pleased to announce the expansion of the Firm’s Oil, Gas and Mineral Law Practice Group with the addition of Ian R. Hoke and Joseph J. Pasquerella who have joined the firm as associate attorneys.
“KWGD has been instrumental in our region’s growth of the Utica Shale play and we are excited to be expanding our practice section to eleven oil and gas attorneys so we may continue to be responsive to our client’s needs along with the pace of industry growth,” said William G. Williams, the firms’ Oil, and Gas Practice Group Leader.
Ian R. Hoke has joined the firm’s Canton office and will be responsible for title and transactional oil and gas work. He has two years of prior oil and gas legal experience. Hoke received his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science/Pre-law with a minor in History from Ohio University and his Juris Doctorate from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law where he was a Senior Editor on the Journal of Law and Health and a distinguished recipient of the Reminger Award for Meritorious Writing in the Field of Law and Medicine. While in law school, he was an Appellate Extern with the Cuyahoga County Prosecutor’s Office.
Joseph J. Pasquarella has also joined the firm’s Canton office and will be focusing in the area of oil and gas litigation. Pasquarella received his Bachelor of Arts in Justice Studies from Kent State University. While there, he was an Intern for the United States Secret Service. He also received his Juris Doctorate from Capital University Law School where he was a Student Bar Association class representative. While in law school, he was a Legal Extern with the Ohio State Troopers Association and a Law Clerk at Colley Shroyer & Abraham Co., LPA in Columbus, Ohio.
